Are you part of the Early Release Program?
You might be without even knowing it. Here’s what you need to know…
What Is It?
If you’re part of this program, you’ll get access to early release features before they’re officially rolled out. Early Release is available to a small percentage of advertisers, and it’s not clear how you join the program.
Per Meta (via Social Media Today):
Early release features are those that are being tested with a small percentage of advertisers to validate performance and suitability before rolling out more broadly, and some features may be rolled back based on these evaluations.
As far as I know, there isn’t an application process. How do I know? I’m part of the program.
Where to Find Features
When viewing the Advanced Preview in Ads Manager, I see the Translate Text feature under Advantage+ Creative. It’s super interesting and I covered it in my last video. Most importantly, there’s a label for “Early Release.”
At the moment, this is the only feature I’m seeing with that label.
Not Test New AI Generation Features
I don’t think this is related to the “Test New AI Generation Features” option in Advertising Settings since Translate Text isn’t listed among the seven features I’m seeing there.
Frankly, I’m not sure what the point is of having both the Early Release Program and the Test New AI Generation Features options since they certainly sound like the same thing — but seem to involve different features.
Dead Page
I should note that after recording this video, Meta took down their official documentation about it.
I don’t think that means anything in particular since the label still appears on the Translate Text feature. But it’s something to consider.
Check to see if you’re part of the program.
